I've worked with John for four years now and the lessons have been great! He walks you through the basics, teaches you professional tips and tricks, and also talks about the philosophy of what a drummer should do. Hint: it's keep the groove! Since taking lessons with John, I've bought an acoustic kit, joined a rock band, participated in several jam sessions, and overall feel comfortable about my abilities. There's a lot more to know, and I look forward to learning even more in the future.
